Registration is accepted in person or by phone at (815) 458-6129 ext. 0. Payments can be made in the form of cash, check or credit card. There is a $20 service fee for all returned checks. Phone registrations are accepted with credit card only.
Please register by the deadline date to ensure classes, special events and trips meet the minimum number of participants. All programs canceled by the Park District will result in a full refund. Some special events and trips are non-refundable.
Karate
New Students are accepted in Session 1 ONLY!
Learn the basics of the traditional Japanese style of karate, known as Shorei Goju. Students are taught flexibility exercises combined with the kicking, punching, and self-defense techniques of karate workouts.

Gong Meditation & Celebration
The gong is an ancient and sacred instrument used for healing, restoration and transformation throughout the world. It produces a strong, almost tangible sound wave, which stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell.
It is recommended to wear layers of loose, non-restrictive clothing, and to bring a mat to lie on, pillow, blanket, chair, water or anything else you may need to comfortably relax into the experience.

Breath & Bodywork with Mary Griffin (formerly known as Self-Care Class)
This class is designed to promote beneficial daily habits. We will be utilizing techniques from Eastern and Western traditions to deepen the breath, move the body and experience a deeper state of relaxation. Please bring an exercise/yoga mat to lay on as well as a firm blanket or two.

The Winter session will focus on twists & core.

Ballroom Dance Class (Swing Dance)
Dancing is fun set to music! Of all the dance rhythms, the one people ask for the most is swing. Join this basic swing class. No previous dance experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and hard soled shoes (leather if possible, but no rubber soled tennis shoes). This class will be held in our Community Center rec room.

Youth & Teen
Youth Basketball – REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR 2025!
Our annual Youth Basketball program takes place on Saturdays in January and February.
This camp is designed to teach basic basketball fundamentals, such as dribbling and passing. Students will put these practices to trial in friendly scrimmage games. Open to boys and girls from all communities.
1st – 3rd grade 9:00 am – 10:00 am $40
4th-5th grade 10:00 am – 11:30 am $55
6th-8th grade 11:30am – 1:00 pm $55
Register/Pay by January 3, 2025.
T-shirt size needed upon registration.
Our game room is equipped with pool tables, foosball, air hockey, game tables, TVs and a variety of game systems. The game room is open to all ages 6+. An adult must accompany and supervise their children under the age of 6.
Open Gym
Our gymnasium is a great place to get out of the cold or the heat when you still want to be active and can’t be outside. Call ahead for Open Gym availability or check the calendar on the board outside of the gym.
Free to Village of Godley residents and anyone 17 years old & under (high school students may be asked to show ID to verify age).
$2 per person for Non-Resident 18+ years old
