The Godley Park District’s Before/After School Program (BASP) is designed to offer a safe environment for your children before & after school, while engaging them in fun and challenging activities. Bus service is provided to and from the Reed-Custer School District and the Braceville Elementary School District. This program is offered 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Morning Program—
6:00 – 7:00 am Arrival of children in the room, table activities, and games
7:00 – 7:30 am Wash hands and eat breakfast
7:30 – 7:45 am Gross-motor activities
7:45 am Prepare and depart for school via the bus
Afternoon Program—
3:45 – 4:15 pm Return from school, wash hands,
have snack
4:15 – 5:15 pm Activities, homework if needed
5:15 – 6:00 pm Gross-motor activities (inside and/or out)
Schedule
The program runs during the school year (August to May). We follow the Reed-Custer School District calendar. Extended day programs are offered for some holidays and scheduled school closings, and possibly including some emergency closure days.
Fees
Weekly payments are due on the Friday before, for the following week. Fees are per child.
Full time rate: (5-am’s & 5-pm’s) – $70/week
Part time rate: (3-am’s OR pm’s*) – $25/week
(5-am’s OR pm’s*) – $40/week
*Must state which days and am’s and pm’s.
Daily Rate – $28/day
No School Days – $28/day
Extended day programs available.
Check your child’s school schedule and call for more information. Open to children from all communities and school districts.
(Do not need to be enrolled in BASP to participate in no school days. However, specific DCFS paperwork, including emergency contact information will be required)
