The Gong is an ancient and sacred instrument used for healing, restoration, and transformation throughout the world. It produces a strong sound wave, almost tangible to the touch, which stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell. On a physical level, the gong releases tension, it stimulates a higher functioning of the glandular, circulation, and nervous systems, and it tonifies our vital life force.
Start your year with a deep and low Gong Meditation with Cory Flanigan and Mary Griffin. We will begin with a gentle Qigong practice to move energy in the Body and some breathing and meditation techniques to quiet and focus the mind. Cory will play for 75 minutes, and the total time for the event will be approximately 90 minutes.
Date: Sunday, January 5
Time: 2:30 – 4:30pm
*Doors open at 2:30, meditation begins at 3:00pm
Ages: Adults & children 12+
